A near head-on crash in the City of Batavia last night sent two drivers to the hospital.
Batavia Police confirm the crash happened at about 8:30pm, near the intersection of Harvester Avenue and East Main Street. 17-year-old Mariah Gaudy of Batavia was westbound on East Main, and attempted a left turn onto Harvester Avenue.
But, Gaudy turned in front of an oncoming car, driven by a mother with her three children. The two vehicles collided in the roadway.
Mariah Gaudy suffered an arm injury and was taken to UMMC by a friend.
The mother, 30-year-old Katrina Flint of LeRoy, was taken by ambulance with a complaint of pain. Her children, ages 7, 9 and 11 received only minor or no injuries.
The 17-year-old Gaudy has been charged for Failure to Yield the Right of Way.
