A Stafford woman is facing several felony charges for allegedly illegally acquiring food stamp benefits.
Twenty-five-year-old Stacy Patterson, authorities say, failed to report her husband’s wages from his employment, as she continued to receive $6,184 worth of benefits between October 2010 and October 2011.
Patterson is charged with grand larceny and four counts of offering a false instrument for filing – all felonies.
