The Batavia Police Department makes its third and most likely final arrest related to the alleged burglary of a local paint store.

Nicholas Adkins Jr., 22, – who has no permanent address – is charged with a felony count of burglary for the incident at Sherwin Williams on Liberty on June 1.

Arrested in July for the same crime are 22-year-old Michael Elmore and 21-year-old Rebecca Morse – both of Bank Street. Morse was an employee of the store and allegedly provided a key and information to assist the burglary.

Adkins Jr. was already in the Genesee County Jail on a parole violation and other unrelated charges. He was brought back to jail following his arraignment in lieu of no bail.

He’s next due in court August 7.
