A Rochester man charged previously with stealing from Batavia chain stores is indicted by a Genesee County Grand Jury on new counts.

The three-count indictment charges Steven D. Crandall with third-degree Burglary and Grand Larceny and fourth-degree Criminal Possession of Stolen Property -- all felonies.

The indictment reads that on Oct. 3, Crandall entered a barn on South Street Road in the Town of Pavilion and stole property totaling almost $13,000.

He allegedly stole a large amount of electrical and hydraulic motors, a commercial mixer and an International front loader frame among other items.
