Batavia man behind bars for alleged drug sales in the city.
29 year old Thomas Gibson of Watson Street was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon by Local Drug Task Force agent following an investigation into alleged crack cocaine sales in Batavia.
Gibson is facing 2 counts of Criminal Sale and 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance which hare all class B Felonies.
He was remanded in lieu of $20,000 to the Genesee County Jail.
A Winter Weather Advisory is going into effect tonight for Genesee, Orleans, Wyoming and Livingston Counties.
According to the National Weather Service there is sleet and freezing rain predicted with the advisory beginning at 11 p.m. this evening and lasting until noon on Sunday.
Accumulations up to a tenth of an inch could make driving conditions difficult.

He talks about how he walked away from the crash of his personal jet in Michigan last month. “After I hit the fence I hit my head at the same time I guess, and it knocked me out so I wasn't awake, but when I came too I was hanging upside down in the cockpit by the seatbelts.”

Drug charges facing two Stafford residents.
64 year old Christine Gelardo of Fargo Road in Stafford was arrested and charged with Criminal possession of a Controlled Substance and possession of a controlled substance in a non-original container.
In the same incident 59 year old Daniel Pelton of the same residence in Stafford was allegedly found in possession of a hypodermic instrument.
Pelton who is currently on probation was charged with Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument and both Pelton and Gelardo were issued appearance tickets returnable to Stafford Town Court on February 28th.
