A winter weather advisory will be in effect until 7 am Monday
Sleet and freezing rain followed by 2 inches of snow, this evening another 3 to 6 inches of snow for tonight.
Travel conditions will be hazardous use extreme caution.

The Genesee County Sheriffs’ Office is investigating a fatal accident Saturday evening in the Town of Alexander on Seward Road.
The driver Jayson W. Dersham of East Main St. Rd. Batavia was
pronounced dead at the scene. Dersham was traveling north on Seward Rd. when his vehicle left the road and struck a tree.

The City of Batavia Police arrested and jailed three for an incident that
occurred at 1 West Main St. Batavia.
Ellean Biaselli of Ellicott St. of Batavia was jailed with on bail
Jessie Sayyeau of Rochester, $1,000.00 bail
Robert Sojda of LeRoy, $1,000.00
All three were arrested on outstanding beach warrants

LeRoy Mayor Greg Rogers has proclaimed the week of February 13th through the 17th to be National Jell-O week.
LeRoy is the birthplace of Jell-O and housed the original Jell-O factory from the 19th century until 1964.
The Jell-O Gallery at 23 Main St. will be open Monday through Saturday
10 am – 4 pm during the week- long celebration.
The Village will be celebrating the newly proclaimed holiday, but it has not been recognized by what is now the Jell-O Company
