Day Two of this Mid-March Winter Storm will look a lot like the first day.
All public and parochial schools in Genesee County are closed for a second day, the Winter Storm Warning continues until tonight and a Travel Advisory has been issued by the sheriff.
Most schools announced today’s closings last night.
School closings include Batavia City Schools and all GCC campus locations.

The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office issued a Travel Advisory due to the continuing snowfall and poor driving conditions.
The advisory states that, quote: motorists are strongly encouraged to avoid any unnecessary travel.
The Winter Storm Warning from the National Weather service continues until 8 tonight.
New York State is still technically under a State of Emergency.
The tractor-trailer ban continues on the Thruway, I-81, and I-86.
Senator Chuck Schumer is asking the IRS to extend deadlines for small businesses affected by winter storms. The filing deadline for businesses is today.
Schumer said New York remains under a state of emergency and many businesses and CPA advisors won't be able to make the deadline.
Congressman Chris Collins is giving in to demands to hold a town hall meeting. Collins plans to hold a televised meeting Thursday night on CNN. Collins had said he would never hold a town hall, claiming it wasn't a productive form of communication.
His decision sparked protests among voters who say he was dodging them.
