24 year old Cody Pahuta of Corfu appeared in County Court yesterday to be sentenced on a charge of attempted assault.
Pahuta beat an individual after they unwantedly came to his residence and kicked them after they fell to the ground.

Defense attorney Jamie Welch claimed the incident would only have been a third degree assault charge if the victim did not lose a tooth.
Judge Charles Zambito sentenced Pahuta to one year in the Genesee County Jail.
