Three persons are dead in three separate highway incidents in as many days.
Yesterday afternoon, 57 year old Charles Grower of Scottsville ran off Route 262 in Bergen and struck a utility pole.
Grower was pronounced dead at the scene.
State Police say Grower may have suffered a medical event just before running off the road. The accident caused a widespread power failure.

A young woman was killed on Saturday in Wyoming County when her car crossed the center line of Route 20A in Sheldon and struck an on-coming car.
23 year old Jessica Lombardo of Buffalo was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Friday morning, a Steuben County man was killed when he apparently crossed the center line of Route 63 near Fargo Road in the Town of Bethany and struck a pick-up truck.
67 year old Gerald Makin of Bradford was dead at the scene.
Three other people were injured in the crash including the driver of the pick-up who was identified as 50 year old Robert Moore of Elba.

The Town of Batavia planning board holding two public hearings tomorrow into Solar Farm projects.
One is an 11 acre site on Oak Orchard Road. The other is a 17 acre site on Pearl Street Road.
The hearings begin at 7 tomorrow night in Batavia Town Hall.

New Yorkers are being warned that the threat of the Zika virus isn't over.  State health officials said that mosquitoes are coming back and they could bring Zika and the West Nile Viruses with them.  No one has been infected by a Zika carrying mosquito in New York yet.  Health officials recommend being vigilant when traveling and recommend using mosquito repellent at home.
