37 year old Erika Poole of Shelby was on trial in Orleans County facing three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance with intent to sell along with Criminal Possession of a Weapon.

She was arrested in July of last year following a raid at a Saltworks Road residence and was accused of dealing crack cocaine after being released from prison on parole only months earlier in February.

Poole had been previously convicted for dealing drugs and served state prison time on the conviction.

She was found guilty on all counts and faces a mandatory prison term as a second felony offender.

The trial is likely the last for Judge James Punch who announced last week his retirement scheduled for July.
