39 year old Trevis Baker of Rochester appeared in court yesterday for sentencing on a drug dealing conviction.

He was arrested following a raid of his residence in March of last year where Orleans Major Felony Crime Task Force members seized various amounts of heroin, crack and powder cocaine along with cash and a loaded handgun.

Baker was under investigation for selling the drugs around the Albion area while he was on parole for an assault conviction.
He was sentenced to six year in state prison to be followed by five years post release supervision.

49 year old Michael Thompson of Medina also appeared in Orleans County Court for sentencing on an assault charge.

Thompson was arrested in September of last year for stabbing an individual during an altercation.

Thompson was also awaiting sentencing on a drug possession conviction at the time of his arrest.

He had received a two year prison sentence for the drug charge and was planning on going to trial for the assault charge where he could have faced up to seven years behind bars.

Thompson took a plea deal and was sentenced to the agreed upon maximum of four years in state prison to run concurrent with his two year term.
