Arc of Genesee Orleans Scholarships
Applications are now being accepted for the Arc of Genesee Orleans Scholarships. Applications must postmarked by March 30, 2019. Must be a high school senior, residing in Genesee or Oleans County or a child of an Arc agency employee. Youth Recognition Nominations
Genesee County and Batavia Youth Boards are seeking nominations for youth and adults who have shown outstanding dedication and service to our community. Nominations deadline is Friday, February 15. K9 Destro Memorial Fundraising
K9 Destro died from cancer in October, ending his 5 year career with the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office. Blood Donors
The American Red Cross is in urgent need of blood donor. If you can help to save a life, contract the American Red Cross and schedule an appointment to donate blood. Persons who are 17 years of age or older, weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate.
