Batavia City Firefighters will be out on the streets Friday, June 7th, to collect for MDA. Fill the boots, 8am to 2pm, on intersections of Main and Court Streets and Ellicott and Court Streets.

The Arc Genesee Orleans Golf & Bocce Tournament

Genesee County Office for the Aging holds weekly activities for Exercise, Bridge, Cribbage, Euchre, Line Dancing, Quilters, and Art. Call the office , 343-1611, for more information and times. New participants always welcome.Other program offerings include information on Alzheimer’s and Dementia, Caregiver Support groups, and grief following caregiving.
K9 Destro Memorial Fundraising
K9 Destro died from cancer in October, ending his 5 year career with the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office. The American Red Cross is in urgent need of blood donor. If you can help to save a life, contract the American Red Cross and schedule an appointment to donate blood. Persons who are 17 years of age or older, weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate.
