Genesee Women’s Soccer to Host Three Camps
BATAVIA, NY – The Genesee Community College women’s soccer team and head coach Jeff Reyngoudt will be hosting their player and team development camps throughout the summer.
Goal Keeper camp will be held on Sundays starting June 16 and going through July 14 from 3:00-4:30pm at the Turf Field. The camp is an individualized camp for keepers specifically. Each camp participant will have one-on-one time with the Genesee coaching staff as they go over the basics of goal keeping and higher level skills as well, such as, catching, throwing, punting/goal kicks, diving, agility and speed training, and more. Registration costs $75.
The 6th grade and under camp will focus on all fundamental skills. The staff will go over dribbling, passing, general ball skills, and communication, all while playing games. Although this is a learning experience, the kids will have a tremendous amount of fun with the fundamental skills and mini games combination. Dates for the 6th grade and under camp run every Monday-Wednesday-Friday from July 8-19 and then July 29, August 1 and 2. Times for this camp will be from 1pm-3pm and registration costs $100.
The team camp involves going over game-like situations any one team may experience throughout a game or a season. The team camp dates and times are flexible to fit your team’s schedule. The team camp registration costs $2,000 per team or $100 per player. The team camp will last five sessions at two hours per session.
Registration forms and checks should be sent to Genesee Community College attn. Athletics, 1 College Road Batavia, NY 14020 and made payable to Genesee Women’s Soccer. Registration forms are available online by going to www.geneseeathletics.com/recreation/sportscamps
