The Genesee County Local Drug Enforcement Task Force has busted a Batavia woman for drug sales.
39 year old Leona Polk of West Main Street Road was taken into custody on two felony counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance.
Leona is accused of selling methadone to Task Force agents on two separate occasions.
She was ultimately released on her own recognizance.

Two Batavia residents are among a dozen arrested on drug charges in Wyoming County.
22 year old Kendra Kenyon and 23 year old Dominic Beck agreed to sell Suboxone to an individual in the Village of Attica.
When they arrived, they were met by lawmen and charged with conspiracy and criminal sale of a controlled substance.
Kendra is in the Wyoming County Jail while Beck has been released on bail.
Ten other suspects were arrested since December on various charges.

Liberty Street woman jailed after being picked up on multiple warrants.
Lawmen in Erie County apprehended 36 year old Tonya Lee Buzzell of Batavia on four separate arrest warrants.
Buzzell was turned over to Deputies in Genesee County where she appeared in both County and then City Court for arraignment proceedings.
Buzzell is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Impersonation and Bail Jumping.
She was jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail and additional charges may be pending.

Police across New York will be cracking down on drunk driving this weekend.
Saint Patrick’s Day weekend patrols are running through Monday.
Travelers can expect to see more sobriety checkpoints as police look to get unsafe drivers off the road.
Last year, 243 people were arrested for drunk driving during Saint Patrick’s Day weekend.
