United Way's 3rd annual Summer Serenade featuring the Genesee Symphony Orchestra will be held Sunday, August 19, 3:30pm, at Mercy Grove, Rt. 5, LeRoy. Tickets available at LeRoy Country Club, Roxy's, or from GSO or United Way board members. Proceeds benefit the United Way Backpack program and the GSO.

LeRoy American Legion Post 576 will host a cruise night, Monday, August 20, 6pm to 9pm at the Legion, 53 West Main Street, LeRoy.  Rain date will be Monday, August 27.

Batavia First United Methodist Church, Lewiston Road, Batavia, will hold a stuffed pepper dinner, Tuesday, August 21, 5pm to 7pm. Children under the age of five are free. Takeouts available.
