The public is invited to the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Ilette Park Gazebo, Rt. 5 & 237, Stafford, Saturday, December 8, 6:27pm. Afterwards there will be festivities at St. Paul Episcopal Church, and community caroling and Bagpipes.

Godfrey's Pond, Griswald Road, Batavia, will host breakfast with Santa, Sunday, December 9, 9am to noon. Kids 5 and under are free.

Genesee Symphony Orchestra will host their Holiday Celebration concert, Sunday, December 9, 4pm, in the Byron Bergen Central School Auditorium.

Batavia American Legion, Post 332,  Rt. 98 South, will host an American Red Cross blood drive, Monday, December 10, 2pm to 7pm.

Batavia High School Musicians will perform Friday, December 14, at the Genesee Arc Community Center, 38 Woodrow Road, Batavia.
