WNY Draft Horse and Pony Club has had to cancel their Old Fashion Day, scheduled for Sunday, April 25 at Estes Farm in Caledonia.

Our Lady of Batavia Knights of Columbus will host a chicken BBQ, Sunday, April 25, starting at 10am, until sold out for take outs only. Pick up chicken at the rear of St. Mary's Church, Ellicott Street. Presale tickets preferred by calling Mike at 343-3810.

Varysburg Fire Dept. Auxiliary will host a drive thru pulled port sandwich with sides event Sunday, April 25, noon until sold out at the Varysburg Fire Hall.

St. Paul Lutheran School, 31 Washington Avenue, Batavia, will hold a scrap metal drive on Saturday, May 1, from 8am til noon. All metal will be accepted (washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, hot water tanks, bicycles, fencing, gas grills,) Microvaves, televisions, computers and propane tanks will NOT be accepted.  Call 343-0488 for more information.
