Garage sale to benefit homeless veterans, 2620 Main Street, East Pembroke, Friday, May 31, Saturday, June 1, and Sunday, June 2, 9am to 5pm.

Batavia First United Methodist Church, Lewiston Road, will host its 2nd annual pulled pork dinner, Friday, May 31, 5pm to 7pm. Eat in or take out.

Last day to register for the Notre Dame High School Golf Tennis and Bocce Tournment is Saturday, June 1. Tournament will be played at Stafford Country Club Monday, June 17. For more information contact Emily Patrick or go online for registration.

Assemblyman Steve Hawley will host a free electronics recycling event, Saturday, June 1, 9am to noon, in the parking lost of 5130 East Main Street, Batavia ( next to National Grid). There is limit of two tube televisions per car.  Cell phones, computers, monitors, printers, small devices, etc. will be collected.
