Batavia City Firefighters from IAFF Local 896 will once again be in the streets of downtown Batavia Friday, June 15th to ask for your donations to help fill "the boot" to benefit MDA from 8am to 2pm.

LeRoy Rotary Club will give out books free to the community to encourage reading on Saturday, June 16th in Trigon Park next to the elementary School. Book donations can be dropped off at the Bank of Castile in LeRoy.

Western NY Gas & Steam Engine Association presents, Thunder in the Sticks, a day of tractor pulling, Saturday, June 16; 10294 Gillate Road, Alexander, gates open at 8:30am; pulling starts at 10am. Chicken bbq at 5pm.

Saturday, June 16, will be all thing Celtic at the Genesee Country Museum, Mumford. Irish dancers, music, food highlight the day. Concert at 5:30pm. For more information call 585-294-8218.
