St. Paul Lutheran School, 31 Washington Avenue, Batavia, will host a scrap metal drive, Saturday, October 2, from 8am til noon. Air conditioners, refrigerators, stoves, washing machines, hot water tanks, fencing, car or boat batteries will be accepted but NO microwaves, propane tanks, tv's, or computers. YWCA 5K

Corfu United Presbyterian Church, 63 Alleghany Street, will participate in the Village of Corfu Autumn Festival, Saturday, October 2, noon to 6pm, with the sale of Manhattan clam chowder. Eat in or take out. Bringing your own container for take out encouraged.
