ArcGLOW Friends and Family 5K will be held Saturday, September 17, starting at the Day Habilitation Center on Barrville Road, Elba. Registration opens at 8:45am; race or walk begins at 10am. Proceeds support programs and services for individuals with disabilities and scholarship opportunities.

Genesee County Fall Master Gardeners will host their annual Fall Garden Gala, Saturday, September 17, 10am to 1pm, on the grounds of the Cornell Cooperative Extension, 420 East Main Street, Batavia.

Corfu United Presbyterian Church, 63 Alleghany Street, will host a chicken BBQ, Saturday, September 17, starting at noon until sold out. Call 599-6414 for tickets.

Ascension Parish will host a pasta dinner, Saturday, September 17, 4pm to 8:30pm, at 17 Sumner Street,  Batavia. Dinner served 4pm to 6pm with music and dancing to follow. Eat in or take out. Tickets available at the door.
