Genesee Cancer Assistance will host a drive thru chicken bbq, Saturday, September 26, 11am until sold out at Ascension Parish Hall, 19 Sumner Street, Batavia. Take outs ONLY. Proceeds benefit cancer patients in Genesee County.

Corfu Grange hall, will host a drive through chicken bbq Sunday, September 27, noon until sold out. This event is in place of the annual pork dinner due to Covid-19.

Veterans One Stop Center of WNY presents Picnic in the Park,, a day of fun lawn games and food for veterans and families, Sunday, October 4, 11am to 2pm at the Genesee County Park, Shelter A, Bethany Center Road, East Bethany. RSVP required by October 1 with Dan at 716-898-0110 ext. 118.

Genesee County Master Gardeners will host a series on catching the gardening bug this fall at noon on zoom. Join Thursday, October 1, for easy preserving - safely prepare flavored oils and vinegars. Pre-registration is required to receive zoom link.

Volunteers for Animals will hold a basket auction, Saturday, October 3,  10am to 3pm, at Pudgies Lawn & Garden, West Main Street Road, Batavia. Wear a mask, practice social distancing.
