The Covington Methodist Church, 1557 Simmons Road, between Perry and Pavilion, will hold a take out only chicken bbq and bake sale, Saturday, April 24, starting at 4pm.

WNY Draft Horse and Pony Club has had to cancel their Old Fashion Day, scheduled for Sunday, April 25 at Estes Farm in Caledonia.

Varysburg Fire Dept. Auxiliary will host a drive thru pulled port sandwich with sides event Sunday, April 25, noon until sold out at the Varysburg Fire Hall.

St. Paul Lutheran School, 31 Washington Avenue, Batavia, will hold a scrap metal drive on Saturday, May 1, from 8am til noon. All metal will be accepted (washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, hot water tanks, bicycles, fencing, gas grills,) Microvaves, televisions, computers and propane tanks will NOT be accepted.  Call 343-0488 for more information.
