Ascension Parish will host a pasta dinner, Saturday, September 17, 4pm to 8:30pm, at 17 Sumner Street,  Batavia. Dinner served 4pm to 6pm with music and dancing to follow. Eat in or take out. Tickets available at the door.

Varysburg Fire Dept. Auxiliary will host "Brunch in the Burg" Sunday, September 18, at the Varysburg Fire Hall, 10am to 2pm. Children 5 and under are free.

St. Paul Lutheran Church and School, 31 Washington Avenue, Batavia, will host a chicken bbq, Sunday, September 18, 11am to 2pm - Drive thru ONLY. Tickets available at the church office or call Diane at 356-8789.

Elba Joint Fire District will host a take out only chicken bbq. Sunday, September 18, starting at 11:30 at the Elba Recreation Hall.

Join with the Volunteers 4 Animals Sunday, September 18, 1pm to 5pm, at The Willow Bend Inn, West Main street, Batavia, to Pawty to help the animals at the Shelter. Music, food, and fun!
