The public is invited to the Genesee Master Gardeners talk on tips for growing great canna lilies on Tuesday, May 1, 12:15pm, at the CCE office, 420 East Main Street, Batavia. Bring your lunch.

Friends of the Richmond Memorial Library, 19 Ross Street, Batavia, will hold their monthly book sale, Thursday, May 3, 9am to 7pm. A large selection of mysteries, science fiction, large print books, biographies, novels, and children's books will be available.

Genesee Valley Council on the Arts will host a workshop on Ceramics, Saturday, May 5, noon to 3pm,. Learn a variety of techniques to create and apply textures and patterns to your ceramics. Registration is needed by Thursday, May 3.  Email melissa@gvartscouncil.org
