Genesee County Fall Master Gardeners will host their annual Fall Garden Gala, Saturday, September 17, 10am to 1pm, on the grounds of the Cornell Cooperative Extension, 420 East Main Street, Batavia.

Corfu United Presbyterian Church, 63 Alleghany Street, will host a chicken BBQ, Saturday, September 17, starting at noon until sold out. Call 599-6414 for tickets.

Ascension Parish will host a pasta dinner, Saturday, September 17, 4pm to 8:30pm, at 17 Sumner Street,  Batavia. Dinner served 4pm to 6pm with music and dancing to follow. Eat in or take out. Tickets available at the door.

Varysburg Fire Dept. Auxiliary will host "Brunch in the Burg" Sunday, September 18, at the Varysburg Fire Hall, 10am to 2pm. Children 5 and under are free.

St. Paul Lutheran Church and School, 31 Washington Avenue, Batavia, will host a chicken bbq, Sunday, September 18, 11am to 2pm - Drive thru ONLY. Tickets available at the church office or call Diane at 356-8789.
