Music for Missions Charity lawn concert at River Springs Lodge, Church Road, Darien Center, will be held for Hunter's Hope, Sunday, August 4. Doors open at 5:15. Fireworks follow the concert. Tickets available on line.

First Baptist Church, South Lake Road, Pavillion, will hold vacation bible school for youth ages 4 through 12, Monday, August 5th, thru, Friday, August 9, 9am to noon. (call 584-3179 for more information)

The Batavia Concert Band will close their summer concert season on Wednesday, August 7, with their concert in Centennial Park, Batavia, 7pm. Bring your lawn chairs.

Kayaking at DeWitt Recreation Area that was cancelled in July has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 10, 10am to noon or 1pm to 3pm. Rent a kayak or bring your own. Pre-registration is required by Thursday, August 8. Call 344-1122.
