Written by Dan Fischer on November 4, 2019
Tomorrow is Election Day across Genesee County and the nation.
In Batavia, the race generating the most attention is for Batavia City Court Judge. Attorney Benjamin Bonarigo is on the Democrat, Working Party and Green Party lines, part-time Judge Durin Rogers has the Republican, Conservative and Independence Party lines.
Also in the city, voters will elect all six ward councilmen:
Only two have opposition: John Canale is challenged by Deborah Kerr Rosenbeck, a Libertarian,
And in Ward 5 longtime Republican Kathy Briggs is opposed by Democrat Sam DiSalvo.
All nine members of the Genesee County Legislature are up for election. Only one has an opponent. Legislator Maryann Clattenberg is challenged by Libertarian Colin McAllister.
There are various town elections as well.
Polls open in Genesee county tomorrow morning at 6 and remain open until 9 tomorrow night.
