In total, the early voting in Genesee county was less than the average nationally.  There were about 7000 early voters out of the 40,567 registered voters in Genesee county.  There were about 3000 absentee ballots requested.  About 2000 democrats voted and about 2800 republicans voted.  In many other places across the US early voter turnout was higher than the total voter turnout in the 2016 presidential election.

COVID Update: Genesee county has 6 new cases and 16 new people are on travel quarantine.  16 people have recovered.  In Orleans county there are 3 new cases and 7 new people are on travel quarantine.  25 people have recovered.  There are 21 active cases in Genesee county and 12 in Orleans.

Governor Cuomo is saying that New York has reservations about the information sharing agreement that comes with the COVID Vaccine.  In the agreement states must share information on who received the vaccines including their personal identification number which would normally be a license or social security number.  Cuomo said this information could be used to identify illegal immigrants and that the federal government has no legitimate reason to want this information and called it extortion.  Cuomo says he is sending a letter to Washington questioning the need for the ID numbers.
