The Veterans Affairs of Western NY is hosting a career fair for a variety of jobs and shifts on August 12th at Freedom Hall on Bailey Ave in Buffalo. You can submit an application package containing your resume, transcript, dd214 if you are a veteran, and 3 references to buffalovajobfair@va.gov.
The City of Batavia Water Department is going to be repairing a water line in front of 13 Holland Ave. today. The street will be closed to through traffic including emergency vehicles. Work began about 8 a.m. and should be completed by 3 p.m. Residents are asked to find alternative routes.
After nearly 2 years of not being at their home the Buffalo Bisons are migrating back into Sahlen field. There will be 23 home games and ticket prices are now revealed to be 10 bucks a person. If you get season tickets for 2022 you also get 2021 free. 259 dollar club level suite rentals come with 12 game tickets and plenty of food and drinks. All this goes on sale Monday at 10am.
