Amber Alert Cancelled

The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office has cancelled the Amber Alert issued earlier this afternoon.
Kamerie Elizabeth Elliott and Guillermo Torres-Acevedo were together when located by the Pennsylvania State Police in Mansfield, PA.
Kamerie was unharmed and will be transported back to Genesee County.

Torres-Acevedo was taken into custody on warrants from New York State and will be held in Pennsylvania pending extradition proceedings.
The investigation is continuing by the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police, Pennsylvania State Police and the US Secret Service. Additional charges are pending.
