Bears and Dolls Visit UMMC

Kids from preschool through first grade were shuttled to UMMC’s Cary Hall on East Main in Batavia for a special event today, the Teddy Bear & Doll Clinic.

Cosimeno said that around 300 kids participate in the interactive event, being bused in from as far as Orleans and Wyoming Counties.
Dozens of health career academy students stood with white lab coats along with hospital staff, leading children and their stuffed animals through various procedures.
Mercy EMS was also on hand giving tours of an ambulance.
