Big Rig Flies off Thruway Overpass in Pembroke

A spectacular crash just before 4 this morning on Route 5 in Pembroke.
A tractor-trailer ran off an I-90 overpass in Pembroke and landed on Route 5 below.
The driver of the truck and a female passenger were injured.
Both were taken to ECMC.

There were two dogs in the truck. One is OK, the other is missing.
Route 5 was closed for several hours. It has now re-opened.
