Briggs, Canale Re-elected to City Council, Clattenburg to Legislature

Incumbent City Councilmen John Canale and Kathy Briggs won re-election on Tuesday night.
Canale, a Republican, defeated defeated Democrat Nicholas Russo and Libertarian Deborah Kerr-Rosenbeck for the Ward 3 seat.

In Ward 5, Incumbent Kathy Briggs defeated Samuel DiSalvo
Ward 5 Vote Totals: Briggs, 210; DiSalvo, 148
In the only contested race in the Genesee County Legislature: District 8 (City of Batavia) incumbent Maryann Clattenburg defeated Libertarian Colin McAllister.
