Dailey Resigns as BCSD Superintendent

Batavia City School Superintendent Christopher Daily is resigning.
Dailey took to Twitter this afternoon to announce that he has taken a job as Superintendent of Schools for Gates-Chili.
Dailey starts his new job on July 1st.
Dailey’s announcement comes at the end of the week where the school board adopted a budget with a tax levy increase of 2.9 percent,
This is just below the state mandated tax cap to insures property taxpayers continue to receive state rebate checks.
Daiely has been the superintendent of Batavia City Schools for the past six years.
