Two brothers were attacked by an intruder in their Wyoming County home.
A 28 year old resident on West Middlebury Road reported yesterday afternoon that he and his 13 year old brother had both been cut several times by an unknown intruder.

The two victims were taken to Strong Hospital.
Police searched the area and located 39 year old Michael Finch of Parrish Florida who was taken into custody.
Finch was charged with two counts each of Attempted Murder, Attempted Robbery, Assault and single counts of Burglary and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.
Sheriff Rodolph said they recovered multiple weapons and at last report the brothers were both recovering from surgeries at Strong.
City Council has appointed Dr. Martin Moore of New Mexico the next City Manager of Batavia.
Moore is currently city manager of Eunice, New Mexico which has a population of around 3-thousand.
That’s less than one third the size of Batavia.
Dr. Moore starts at $110,000 annually increasing to $114,000 in the third and final year of his three-year contract.
Moore will begin his new post in Batavia on October 15th.
Western New York Republican leaders gather in Batavia tonight to find a candidate for the 27th Congressional District.
GOP party chairs will be working on a way to replace Congressman Chris Collins on the November ballot.
They are meeting tonight at Batavia Downs.
Genesee County GOP Chair Richard Siebert said he knows of 15 potential candidates, however he thinks his local Assemblyman in Batavia fits the bill the best….
Siebert said he was unsure whether Collins name could be taken off the ballot but it would be critical to have a strong candidate on the ticket to take his place.
Governor Cuomo has finally agreed to debate Cynthia Nixon ahead of next month’s New York Democratic primary. The Sex and the City actress, who’s behind in the polls by double digits, has been pushing for a face-off with the two-term governor for months. Cuomo and Nixon will meet at Hofstra University in Nassau County on Wednesday, August 29th.
