Country Max says it will open a new store in Batavia next year.
The company says it will take over the former Office Max building on Veterans Memorial Drive.
No date for the store opening was announced.
Country Max closed its East Main Street store last year after 16 years in Batavia.
The stores features a wide variety of animal feeds as well as lawn and garden supplies. The new location will also feature a self-serve dog wash.
Fire damages the Kaiser Wilcox Company in Bergen
The call for a working structure fire came in around 11 last night.
Three alarms were sounded to bring the flames under control. No one was hurt.
The company sells and repairs heavy construction equipment.
A Winter Weather Advisory has been posted for Genesee County from early this evening until early tomorrow night.
There is a Winter Storm Warning posted for areas to the south of us including Wyoming County.
Bad weather has caused Attica and Alexander Central schools to cancel afternoon and evening activities
The National Weather Service is forecasting snow and blowing snow for most of Genesee County beginning around 7 tonight.
Three to six inches of accumulation can be expected by tomorrow night.
KISS fans are going to get one more chance to see the band perform in Western New York.
The rock and roll group is coming to the Darien Lake on August 23rd.
