Gov. Andrew Cuomo

Governor Andrew Cuomo is vowing to legalize recreational marijuana for adults.
In New York City this morning, Cuomo said the current pot policy should change, calling for an end to what he called, ‘needless and unjust prosecution”

Recent polls show people are in favor of legalizing recreational pot and with Democratic majorities now in the legislature it’s expected to pass.

A Genesee County Grand Jury has indicted Antwan Odom on a charge of first degree assault.
The 18 year old Odom is accused of using a knife to attack Batavia High School classmate and football star Ray Leach last August.
Leach went on to lead the Blue Devils to the state finals.

 

State Police arrest a Jamestown man for sex offense in Elba.
Troopers arrested 20 year old Garrett Scott on a Felony count of Disseminating Indecent Material to Minors.
He was released on his own recognizance while investigation into the incident continues.

Josh Allen’s fourth quarter 42-yard touchdown pass to Robert Foster lifted the Buffalo Bills to a 14-13 home victory over the Lions.
Allen threw for 204 yards and ran three yards for a second quarter touchdown.
Buffalo ended a two-game skid and is 5-and-9.

Jeff Skinner scored twice, including the go-ahead goal to lift the Sabres to a 4-2 win over the Bruins in Boston.
Jack Eichel also scored twice and had a pair of assists for Buffalo.
The Sabres have won three of their last four.
