A Batavia couple busted for allegedly smoking weed in front of their kids.
A visit by Child Protective Services led to the arrest of 41 year old Timothy Eastridge and 30 year old Stephanie Hartgrove of Chestnut Street.
Timothy was accused of smoking the weed, Stephanie charged with allowing it.
Both have appearance tickets for city court.
A Canadian man has been charged with vehicular manslaughter in connection with a fatal crash in LeRoy.
LeRoy Police say 22 year old Andray Bair of Thorold, Ontario was drunk when his car struck a house at 79 Clay Street last month.
A passenger in Bair’s vehicle, 22 year old Handel Jamal Love also of Canada was killed. Bair is now in county jail.
Batavia Police say: beware of some bogus bills.
The funny money looks real enough but read the fine print near the bottom of Alexander Hamilton’s head – it says, “this is a replica.”
The body of a woman found along the Lake Ontario shore at Hamlin Beach is believed to be that of a missing town of Sweden woman.
47 year old Margaret DeGraff has been missing since last Wednesday.
Police found a note and described DeGraff as very upset.
Foul play is not suspected. An autopsy is being performed to confirm her identity.

He’s urging state lawmakers to include the permanent tax cap in the budget due April 1st.
