An Amber Alert has been issued in Genesee County and throughout Western New York for a missing one-year old child whose mother was found dead earlier this week.
The child is identified as 14 month old Owen Hidalgo-Calderon.
The body of the child’s mother, 18 year old Selena, Hidalgo-Calderon, located Wednesday in some woods behind a farm on Joy Road in Sodus.
State Police have arrested the woman’s boyfriend, Alberto Reyes, on a charge of tampering with evidence for allegedly moving the body and burying it.
Reyes has not commented on the whereabouts of the child.
Troopers say given the circumstances the child is in imminent danger of serious physical harm or death.

Simmering tension on Batavia’s south side has prompted police and a city councilwoman to call for a neighborhood meeting.
5th Ward Councilwoman Kathy Briggs:
The meeting will be held this coming Thursday night at 6 in the St. Anthony’s Community Center on Liberty Street.
Briggs and Police Chief Shawn Heubusch want to remind residents about the importance of reporting incidents as they see them as a means of taking back their community.
All of this is in response to last week’s fatal stabbing and shooting on Central Ave.
An assault in Pavilion pub leads to the arrest of a LeRoy Man.
36 year old David Howard of Wolcott Street LeRoy is accused of getting into a fracas with another man at the Clover Leaf pub on Telephone Road in Pavilion.
Howard was charged with Assault and issued a court appearance ticket.
Local Lawmen will be increasing enforcement on impaired drivers beginning today.
The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, Batavia and LeRoy Police Departments will begin enforcement in the statewide STOP-DWI Crackdown effort today and will end on Tuesday May 29th.
Governor Cuomo is also suspending road and bridge construction projects on New York highways throughout the Memorial Day weekend to help ease congestion on one of the busiest travel holidays of the year.
