Violence with a knife moves into the normally quiet Village of Elba.
Deputies say a fight occurred yesterday on Church Street in Elba.
One man was stabbed by another.
Arrested for First Degree Assault was 42 year old Lamont Crimes of North Street in Batavia.
Crimes is in the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $15,000 abil.
Deputies did not say what the fight was about.
The south side of Batavia is still simmering from stabbing two weeks ago that killed one man and left another with a gunshot wound to the leg.
An Albion woman is jailed for assault and robbery.
32 year old Holly Squires is accused of forcibly taking money from another person and causing injury. She has been jailed in lieu of $5,000 bail.
The suspected robbery occurred Sunday in the Town of Alabama.
A Pavilion man has been arrested for allegedly vandalizing a sports car in the parking lot of a Stafford restaurant.
52 year old Michael Joanette has been charged by State Police with a felony count of Criminal Mischief.
Troopers say Joanette smashed the windshield of a white corvette parked in the Red Osier lot.
He’s being held in lieu of $20,000 bail.
A State Street woman held without bail for allegedly stealing rent money she was supposed to pay.
30 year old Jessica Deridder is charged with Grand Larceny for taking rent money from a neighbor and failing to pay the landlord.
