Fatal Crash in Lockport Injures Batavia Truck Driver

A fatal crash in Lockport lands a Batavia Box Truck Driver in the hospital.
The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office has identified 28 year old Brandon Loucks of Batavia as the surviving driver in a fatal accident in Lockport.
The accident occurred last Thursday afternoon when Loucks’ was traveling eastbound on Stone Road in a box truck and crossed the center line striking a westbound passenger car.
The Sheriff’s Office says the crash killed 44 year old Brian Ralph of Lockport and left Loucks seriously injured.
Loucks was taken by Mercy Flight to ECMC and according to authorities he remains hospitalized recovering from his injuries.
Ralph was pronounced dead at the scene.
No charges have been announced and investigation into the accident remains on-going.
