Batavia Blue Devil’s take to the field one last time tonight ahead of demolition and construction.
The last time the Batavia team will feel the grass of Woodward field is nearly 90 years to the day the first time the team took to the field.
Batavia resident and mayor of Redfield Parkway, Jim Owen provided WBTA with a brief history lesson…
Before the rebuilding process begins, there is a special send-off planned for the field and facility at half time tonight as the Batavia Blue Devils take on the Blue Devils from Attica.
Owens said he would bet his house that the Blue Devils won tonight.
You can hear the game live beginning at 7:30 p.m. here on WBTA.
