Beehler Signs Letter of Intent with Genesee Softball
BATAVIA, NY… The Genesee Community College softball team is pleased to announce that Aprile Beehler has signed her Letter of Intent to attend and play softball at Genesee Community College.
The Pavilion, NY native plays shortstop for the Golden Gophers, where she has been named team captain, the recipient of the Coaches Award and has been named a Scholar Athlete. Aprile is a three-sport athlete at Pavilion, where she also plays basketball and volleyball. Aprile will be enrolling in the Nursing program at Genesee in her pursuits of becoming a nurse upon graduation.
In the classroom, Aprile has been named Student of the Year and is a member of the FFA and National Honor Society. Her favorite moment during her athletic career is going to the Section V Finals. She enjoys playing with her younger siblings and helping others and her pre-game meal is any kind of sandwich. Her role model is her great grandmother. Aprile says “it is because she is the strongest person I know and cares for everyone.”
The 2019 softball team (1-7) will host Onondaga Community College on Thursday, March 28 at 3pm in their 2019 home opener.
