Cougars Lose Tough Road Contest to Generals
The Genesee men’s basketball team came up short in a 70-65 loss to the Herkimer College Generals on Tuesday afternoon.
Reigning Genesee Male Athlete of the Week Jarett Haines led the Cougars offensively with 21 points by going 7-9 from behind the arch. Jamir Cheek scored 18 points with nine assists and seven rebounds.
The Cougars (9-7) will start their 2018-19 Western New York Athletic Conference slate on Wednesday, January 23rd at #6 Erie Community College, with tip-off scheduled for 7:30 pm.
