MEN’S SOCCER SHUTOUTS PANTHERS
DRYDEN, NY… The no.7 ranked Genesee Community College men’s soccer team earned their fifth shutout of the season by defeating the Tompkins Cortland Community College Panthers 7-0 Tuesday evening.
Hiago Barros De Souza scored four goals the Blue and Gold. Jack Crowley, Josh Jones, and Vitor Suzarte also found the back of the net. Ed Port had four assists on the day. Ollie Ardle and Shahin Tahir Nasabi also earned assists.
Marcus Kenline earned the shutout for Genesee, stopping all three Panthers shots.
The Cougars (7-2) return home on Thursday, September 26 as they host the Erie Community College Kats at 4pm in a Western New York Athletic Conference contest.
