Cougars Fall in Straight Sets to Jayhawks
JAMESTOWN, NY…The Genesee Community College volleyball program dropped their first match of the season Tuesday in straight sets to Jamestown Community College. The Blue and Gold played tough in all three contests, dropping 25-17, 25-15, and 25-9 to their Western New York Athletic Conference opponent.
Neely Abrams and Grace Masse both had 36 assists to lead Genesee. Ana Carolina Cerezer Pinto, Morgan Mathis, and Kaitlyn VanSkiver all had three kills. Cerezer and Aima Kamo had two digs each.
Genesee returns to action on Sunday, September 15 at the Hudson Valley Community College Pod against SUNY Adirondack, North Country CC, and Hudson Valley.
