Genesee Earns 10th win of the Season vs Lakers
BATAVIA, NY… The Genesee Community College women’s basketball team earned their 10th win of the season on Tuesday night after defeating the Finger Lakes Community College Lakers 72-45.
Erina Ishiguro led the way for the Cougars scoring 18 points. TaLia Burgess continued her double-double game streak with 13 points and 16 rebounds. Tylasia Weaver added 14 points. Two-sport athlete Michaela Curletta scored her first collegiate 3-pointer to stretch the Cougar lead.
Genesee is back in action this weekend as they participate in the Thunderwolves Classic at Niagara County Community College. Genesee will play Lakeland CC on Saturday and Henry Ford College on Sunday.
