Women’s Soccer Releases 2019 Slate
BATAVIA, NY… The Genesee Community College Athletics Department released the 2019 schedule for the women’s soccer program Wednesday. All home contests will take place on the Batavia campus of Genesee Community College.
Returning for his seventh season, Jeff Reyngoudt along with assistants Macy Reyngoudt and Kelly Starchok are looking for redemption in the NJCAA Women’s Soccer National Championships as well as repeating as NJCAA Region III Champions.
Genesee starts their 2019 campaign at home with three dates in August, taking on Clinton Community College in the home opener on August 24 at 5pm, followed by a 1pm start vs North Country on the 25th and a 1pm start against Mohawk Valley on the 31st.
Entering the month of September, the Cougars travel to Corning Community College on September 4 before hosting four straight home games against Niagara, Columbia-Greene, Monroe, and Cayuga. Genesee will travel to Hudson Valley and Tompkins Cortland before hosting Erie and CCBC Essex to end the month.
October starts with a home contest vs Jamestown Community College at 6:30pm followed by a trio of road games at Herkimer (October 5), Finger Lakes CC (October 9) and at Fulton-Montgomery (October 12). Genesee returns home for their regular season home finale on October 15 vs Mercyhurst Northeast. The regular season ends on Saturday October 19 at SUNY Broome.
Postseason play will begin with the Sub Regional game on October 29. Sunday November 3 will be the Region III Championships hosted at Herkimer College. The 2019 NJCAA Women’s Soccer National Championships will take place starting on Thursday, November 14 at Tompkins Cortland Community College in Dryden, NY.
